Aglianico variety is one of the most important and widespread in Cilento. It produces robust, full-bodied red wines with good structure and lively acidity. Aglianico del Cilento is known for its intense and complex aromas, with notes of red fruits, spices and tobacco.


Fiano is a white grape variety native to Cilento, known for producing aromatic and complex white wines. Fiano wines from Cilento are characterized by a floral and fruity bouquet, with notes of peach, apricot and wild flowers. They are fresh, balanced and persistent wines.


Greco is another white grape variety native to Cilento, used for the production of dry and aromatic white wines. Greco wines from Cilento have intense aromas of exotic fruit, citrus and white flowers. They are fresh, vibrant wines perfect with fish and seafood dishes.


Aglianico del Cilento DOC: This designation includes red wines made with at least 85 percent Aglianico grapes from the Cilento area. Aglianici del Cilento DOCs are robust and structured wines aged in wooden barrels to develop complexity and depth.


Cilento Bianco DOC: This designation includes white wines made from Fiano and/or Greco grapes from the Cilento area. Cilento Bianco DOC wines are fresh, aromatic and fully express the character of the Cilento terroir.
